Windows XP StartUp Repair

This is a simple way to turn on and off startup items if you can read you can do this

Go To Start
Run
Type in: msconfig
Click the STARTUP TAB
Click Disable All
Click OK then restart.

If this does not fix your problem!

Follow Steps 1-3 from above
Click SERVICES TAB
Click Disale All
Click OK
Click Restart

NOTE: IF you follow these steps and are successful you will need to start your anti-virus and/or Firewall programs manually becuase they are usually in the startup and services tab. Then I would run a full Anti-Virus Scan to find the issue. Usaually Startup issues are caused by trojans or spyware. If you do Not Have an Anti-virus program CLICK HERE for a free scan.

Start up Issues are big problem with a lot of Computers so here are some easy steps to keep your computer from slowing down.

Go to START
RUN
Type In: %temp%
Press CTRL+A
Press Delete Key. If you recieve an errors on the delete the select a few files at at a time and delete them becuase one is being used for something and cuasing the error.

Part 2

Go to START
RUN
Type In: temp
Press CTRL+A
Press Delete Key. If you recieve an errors on the delete the select a few files at at a time and delete them becuase one is being used for something and cuasing the error.

These Steps can fix Startup problems, Internet problems, and lock up problems.
